This body of work continues to be a practice of letting go, just flowing.

It feels right-brained, loose and wistful. I let it lead me.

Easy and free.

Not embracing or resisting upheaval but observing, breathing, mostly remaining in my center.

Nodding at the necessity of it all.

There has always been destruction and rebirth.

A clearing away to build anew.

Simplicity is key. A quiet place for the weary soul, surrounded by sea and sky.

Listening and looking for what is needed now. For comfort and calm, for me, for others.

For this series I often used my hands, building up the canvas with layers, mostly blues and greens.

Asking the painting what it needs from me now.

A river flowing, a reflection shimmering, ripples effecting eternity.
